I was really impressed with a recent project that Indianapolis completed to add 8 miles of protected bike and pedestrian lanes through it’s downtown area.

What excited me most was that this project was done by a team of people that simply wanted to make things better and took action to make it happen. They knew that the project would never happen if they were to depend on tax dollars to fund it, so they raised capital through a mix of private and public donations.

Watch this video, I think you’ll enjoy it. The lesson here is think big and take action.
